A PandaDoc alternative without a seat cap
PandaDoc's entry paid plan caps you at 2 seats and still charges per user, so a growing team hits an upgrade wall fast. Sign prices by volume instead: no per-seat charge and no seat cap on any plan.
| Sign | PandaDoc | |
|---|---|---|
| Starting price | $0/mo (free plan) | $19/user/mo billed annually ($35/user/mo monthly) |
| Per-seat pricing | Never, on any plan | Yes, on every paid plan |
| Seat cap on the entry paid plan | No cap, any team size | Capped at 2 seats; a third person means upgrading to Business |
| Documents on the cheapest paid plan | Starter: 25 envelopes/mo (300/yr) at $8/mo | Entry plan: unlimited documents, but only 2 users, at $19/user/mo |
| Unlimited envelopes available | Yes, $19/mo (Business), any team size | Yes, from the entry plan, but per-seat cost keeps scaling as you add people |

Why the 2-seat cap is a real limit
PandaDoc's entry plan gives you unlimited documents, but only two people can ever hold a seat on it. The moment a third teammate needs to send something, the whole account moves to the Business plan, at a higher per-seat price for everyone, not just the new person. Sign has no seat cap on any plan: add as many teammates as you want, the price is set by how many documents you send in a month, not by headcount.
Do I need PandaDoc's proposal and CRM features?
PandaDoc is built around sales proposals: quoting tables, CRM sync, and payment collection baked into the document itself. If that's the actual job, PandaDoc's tooling for it is more built-out than Sign's. Sign is built for a narrower, more common job, getting a document signed, quickly and legally, without paying for proposal software you don't need.
What about integrations?
This is a real gap, not a close call: PandaDoc connects to Salesforce, HubSpot, Zapier, Slack, Microsoft Teams, QuickBooks, and dozens of other tools out of the box. Sign doesn't have a public integrations catalog today. If your workflow depends on a document syncing automatically into a CRM or triggering a Zapier automation, PandaDoc currently does that and Sign doesn't.
Switching from PandaDoc
There's no import step because there's nothing to migrate: your existing PandaDoc documents stay exactly where they are. Just upload your next document to Sign and send it from there. See how it works for the full flow, or try the free signature maker first if you just need a signature image today.
