Is a signature image legally binding?

No, not by itself. A downloaded PNG signature is just an image of a signature. On its own, it doesn't carry the evidence an electronic signing process needs.

Sign collects electronic signatures that meet the requirements of the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA for most everyday business contracts.
